What is Scrap Booking
Let's start with a definition:
"Scrapbooking is the practice of combining photos, memorabilia and stories in a scrapbook style album."
I recently attended a convention where the key note speaker quoted that at least one person in every four households scrapbooks. That is a lot of people and there are probably that many more wanting to scrapbook or not even knowing about this most amazing pastime.
My question is - how many people consider themselves scrapbookers – yet have no albums to show.
Instead they have boxes, bags, & closets filled with scrapbook supplies and shoe boxes of pictures.
Whether you already scrapbook or are considering the hobby, a scrapbook coach will organize your creative outlet and your life.
Everyone will complete more albums through coaching. Just like any group sport needs a coach to come up with a plan, get everyone psyched up to carry out the plan, and finally going for the competition. Scrapbookers will learn, organize, generate and continue to be challenged to complete legacies.
Scrapbooking is a wonderful outlet for you to relax, de-stress, be creative and let yourself create.
Most importantly while doing something for you – you will be completing one of the most important things you can provide for your family and generations to come.Only pictures with journaling including names, dates, places and feelings can compete with memories and complete memories. Through scrapbooking and archival materials memories can be preserved and shared with each generation.
Scrapbooking does not need to be a daunting task – nor should it be.
However, looking back at years of pictures in boxes can be overwhelming.
Attending home scrapbook parties or visiting your local scrapbook store and collecting scrapbooking materials for a while,
perhaps even years can eventually create chaos instead of finished albums.
If you consider all of the money you have invested in picture taking, development and scrapbook supplies – you’ve taken the steps to a major commitment.
The steps that need to be put in place are the ones that will have you completing pages and albums using what you have. In the future organization will lead to educated purchases resulting in less money being spent or spent smarter.
With the help of a coach you will pull out, organize those pictures and utilize those scrapbook materials you’ve been collecting – perhaps even hoarding.
I will help you get set up, and get into a routine of organizing and scrapping.
Another area that many people tend to be intimidated with is journaling. Journaling is the most important part of scrapbooking.
I will keep you on a path of successful and effortless journaling.
Your end results will be continuous scrapping, organizing and journaling all in time you never knew was there.
Your family will love the results – everyone loves looking at scrapbooks!
With a scrapbooking routine you will continuously work on the past, present and future. You will reap the rewards of overcoming organizational, creativity and journaling challenges.
