Baby Back Ribs with Barbecue Sauce

Serves 4
Preparation: 1 hr

This typical American recipe is perfect for a summer barbecue! Enjoy this dish with some vegetables on the side for a low calorie meal.


Ingredients:

- 5 lbs baby back ribs (2 racks)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 8 tablespoons hot ketchup
- 6 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Freshly ground pepper
- Salt


Directions:

1. Prepare the marinade a day before: in a bowl, combine the mustard, ketchup, honey, lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Season the ribs with pepper and place in the marinade. Keep in the fridge overnight.

2. Set your oven to broil.

3. Remove the ribs from the marinade and save the marinade. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and rub them with the rest of the marinade. Sprinkle some salt and broil for about 10 min.

4. Turn them over and repeat broiling for about 45-50 min until the meat is all caramelized.

5. Serve with a salad or steamed vegetables.
